Here at StyleSeat, our goal is to help you thrive by providing the tools you need to run your businesses effectively, no matter if you’re just getting started, or have been in business for years! And when it comes to what it costs to use those tools, we’ve done our best to set out our plans and features in a way that lets everyone pick the option that works best for you.
Here we’ll get into the overview of what costs you can expect to see when using StyleSeat.
NOTE: StyleSeat has two different plan options; which plan you use will affect the various costs.
Monthly Subscription
Premium Plan - $35 subscription cost per month
Basic Plan - $0 subscription cost per month
Credit Card Processing Fee
One of the main features that StyleSeat offers is the ability to process payments right through the app! Like any payment system, there is a standard processing fee involved to run payments and offer payouts sent straight to your bank account:
Premium Plan - 2.75% for each transaction
- Processing fee only applies to payments taken in-app, since Premium Plan Pros can also use cash or other payment methods during checkout
Basic Plan - 3% for each transaction
- This will apply to all appointments since all transactions are automatically processed in-app on the Basic Plan
Features
In addition to our standard business management tools, StyleSeat also offers some additional features specifically for business growth. These features will have their own fees that apply to those specific appointments where those features are used.
New Client Connection
Premium Plan - 30% ($50 max) of the service cost of the new client’s first appointment
Basic Plan - 30% of the service cost of the new client’s first appointment
Smart Pricing
Premium Plan - 5.5% of the service cost (up to $16.50, *max amount may vary depending on the number of additional services included in the appointment)
Basic Plan - 5.25% of the service cost (up to $50, *max amount may vary depending on the number of additional services included in the appointment)
Premium Appointments
Premium Plan - 33% of the 20% upcharge that a Premium Appointment adds to the appointment
Basic Plan - 15% of the 20% upcharge that a Premium Appointment adds to the appointment
NOTE: New Client Connection and Smart Pricing are both optional on the Premium Plan. If they aren’t a good fit you can always opt out of either or both.
NOTE: Standard processing fees apply to appointments in addition to the Growth feature fees above
