Issue Refunds

Article summary: instructions for professionals on how to issue a full or partial refund, and refunds on no-show/late-cancellation fees.


There may be times you need to issue a refund to a client. If you charged your client via StyleSeat payments, you can quickly refund them the full or a partial amount. Refunds typically take 2-3 days to appear on the client's statement depending on their bank (can take up to 10 days). 


Issue Refunds

 

1. Click Calendar

2. Click on the appointment that you want to refund.

3. Click Refund



4. Select the reason and click Submit




5. Your client should receive a confirmation of the refund and see the refund on their bank statement within 3-5 business days.


NOTE: If you need to issue a partial refund to your client, please Contact StyleSeat Customer Support. Issuing partial refunds is not available to do from your pro account at this time



Refund a Late Cancellation Fee


1. Go to Clients and search for the client's name and find their appointment in the list of previous appointments



2. Click on the Refund button below the appointment

3. Select the reason for the refund, and click Submit
