To qualify for payment in installments with Klarna, your order must be between $40 USD and $1,000 USD after any discounts, and before shipping and taxes. You can reserve multiple services from multiple professionals at once with Klarna as long as the order meets the other requirements.

4 interest-free installments. With this option, you’ll pay the first installment via Klarna when checking out on StyleSeat. For the remaining three installments, you’ll pay every two weeks, until you’ve paid a total of four times. You won’t be charged interest or fees when paying on time.

To Pay With Klarna:

  1. Select your professional, service, and appointment date/time.
  2. On the booking confirmation screen, select Klarna as your payment method.
  3. Go to Confirm Payment Method
  4. Review the appointment and payment details and select Book With Klarna.
  5. Create or sign in to a Klarna account and agree to Klarna’s terms and conditions.
  6. Enter the information required by Klarna. Klarna will ask for your name, date of birth, billing address, and phone number.

NOTE: Klarna payments are non-adjustable, which means the price you confirm at booking is locked-in. Please be sure to double-check the service and coordinate with your professional before booking if you are unsure of the booking details before proceeding. Or you can cancel and rebook with the professional. Because the price at booking is final with Klarna, you will also have the option to select a tip at booking, before checkout. If you prefer to wait until after your service to tip, you will need to pay for your tip with another payment method outside of StyleSeat.

NOTE: Klarna may decline the order. If that’s the case, the option to pay with Klarna will become grayed out. You can then complete the order using a different payment method, or you can wait 1 hr to retry using Klarna.

How Do I Check My Payments and Schedule?

Sign in to your Klarna account on the Klarna app or via Klarna's website to check your payment schedule, and contact Klarna’s Customer Service team with further questions.

You can also check your email account for an email from Klarna containing your payment schedule. If you don’t see it, be sure to look in your spam folder or trash history.

A late fee charged by Klarna may apply if a payment is not submitted by a due date set by Klarna.

NOTE: If you are unable to make a payment: please reach out to Klarna’s customer service team and they’ll be happy to look into the options available. You can contact them 24/7 in the Klarna app or at Klarna.com.

What If I’m Denied Eligibility?

We recommend you use another form of payment and contact Klarna for further assistance. Please visit the Klarna help page - Klarna’s Customer Service.

How Do I Make Changes to My Appointment?

Because you’ve booked with Klarna, your payment is non-adjustable, which means the price you confirmed during booking is locked in. If you need to make service or price adjustments to your appointment, you’ll need to cancel and rebook with the professional.

Cancel a Klarna Appointment on the Mobile App

  • Log into your account
  • Open My Appointments
  • Click View Details on the appointment
  • Tap Cancel Appt
  • Confirm cancellation

How Do I Tip My professional?

We are currently working to make updates to allow for more flexibility with tipping when you select Klarna as a payment option.

Right now, Klarna payments are non-adjustable, which means the price you confirm at booking is locked-in. Because the price at booking is final with Klarna, you will have the option to select a tip at booking, before checkout. If you prefer to wait until after your service to tip, you will need to pay for your tip with another payment method outside of StyleSeat.

I’m Seeing a Hold on My Card Before Checkout

When a client books an appointment using Klarna, StyleSeat will authorize the total amount of the service and tip at the time of booking. While we do authorize the full amount, only the first installment will be withdrawn from your account when the appointment is completed. The remainder of the installments will be withdrawn based on their agreed-upon payment schedule.
